Ok, this is gonna sound judgmental, but stick with me...In Hong Kong, there are groups of Africans and Philipinos and Indians on every street and alley. Theres a group that hangs out at the 7-11 below the hostel. They just hang out and talk, and drink and the ladies ply their trade....Just now, I went down to get some tea and bread. I didnt know how the tea machine worked and 2 African women said, Hello! I decided to be friendly and started talking with them (no, not looking for business just not being an American jerk). They explained how to use the coffee machine. One of them said, You look different from last time. I played along...What do you mean? She said, Last time, your shoulders were thinner and your belly stuck out more. But now your shoulders are wider and less stomach. She had the right guy. I said, yes, in the summer, I didnt exercise and looked that way.....OMG, she remembered me from 6 months ago....We all know I have thin shoulders, but Ive been lifting weights trying to make them look bigger...and she knew I had more gut then....If you think you dont matter, or people dont see you, or realize you exist, or if youre like me and you judge people by how they act, or what they do to make money......I know I should think again. I definitely wont forget this adventure in Hong Kong
