Ok, this is how it all ends, folks: you go through life, buying and collecting furniture to help your kids out when they go to set up their house. Thats all well and good until you ask them if they want all this stuff, and they say NO! I have numerous pieces of furniture that I cannot live with because they clutter up my house and my life, so within the next few weeks, I am adding posts as I go to get rid of this stuff. You haul. No bargaining down because I wont. But I am meticulous and things are clean and well loved, and tight and I never have bought junk. Today is my first post, and I have GOT to get rid of a steamer trunk. I took two pictures of it here and although a bit rough looking, it is tight and solid. Bought it from an antique shop in Canton, Ohio, years ago- paid 400 for it around 1995. Its yours for 200. Leather outside handles have dry rotted off long ago- before I bought it actually- and canvas on bottom is a bit nicked up. Humped top. Storage inside with dividers. Let me know if any of you are interested. I used it to put pictures of all my kids on it: you know, the kids who dont want it- and I love it but its history. Thanks for looking!
