Ok, total rant mode on. I have been out of the car scene for a while now, but as some of you know, was a little bit of a gear head in days gone by. I watched the show Street Outlaws last night. What a load of crap. Street cars with trans brakes, 24 inch wide slicks, multiple stage NOS set ups? Nope. Granted there were a few cars that were more down to earth, but if you have to tub it out, cant make 2 back to back passes without melting down, and have to trailer it to the race.....is it really street? All that why not just take it to the track, I mean you are half way there anyway.......gives street rods a bad name.
