Ok well here goes.... today marks 2 years of one of the most remarkable miracles Ive ever seen and been apart of. Bretts life changed 2 years ago today when his accident occured. Since I dont have enough space here for all of his stories, being the ups and downs, let me just hit a few high points. Brett didnt talk or eat real food for 11-12 months after accident. Brett couldnt move on his own. But God wasnt done with him yet. Brett was put on Hospice...not expected to make it. Issue after issue he hung in there....again God wasnt done with him yet. Then around July of 2013....he started improving medically and was taken off Hospice. Around Thanksgiving 2013 he took his first bite of real food and followed the next month by talking. Because of his wonderful parents being so insistant on what was done and happened to him....his life changed! Since then he has managed to go to the movies and have therapy in home. And it just kept getting better!! After proving a lot of people wrong, he finally had some doctors believing in him. Brett as of now has been at Pat Neal for 1 month and can I tell u what he did this week??? He wrote his name on his own!!! Yes the boy the couldnt move his arms or legs on his own! God has done some amazing things in his life and the most important of all is Brett is now in a better relationship with God. I fully believe there are more miracles to come....just wait for more posts! Thank u for reading this....sorry its long. I could talk a lot longer about him. Lol I have been so blessed to be apart of his life. I never knew I could love anyone so much that didnt even talk to me for the first year! God puts people in our lives for a reason!!
