Ok, well the fun at the VA is done, for now anyway. Xrays show that 1, they left me plenty of lung to breath with (thank goodness, lol!) and the remaining 4 chambers are staying fully inflated. Bloodwork results in few days. All docs and nurses are amazed how well im doing and ability to get around as well as I am. I wont lie, there are many moments that between the shortness of breath can get a bit overwhelming, but I have oxygen and 2 inhalers (1 a steroid) to help, so they stay close by. Also the tightness in my chest that I compare to being kicked by a horse then having an elephant sitting on it right after, gets painful. But its really more annoying than anything else. I have to realize though that no matter how decent I feel, I just had my chest opened 2 weeks ago today and cant push myself cause of the damage that it could do with all the damaged muscles and nerves in my chest. But of course, anyone who truly knows me, I am used to pushing myself. But, not this time... I have ,once again, been given ANOTHER chance by my heavenly father above to stay here with my love, my family and friends, and most of all, my 3 beautiful baby girls, and live life. I dont care who you are, but what you are witnessing in me is nothing short of a HEAVENLY miracle!! My life has been touched by God and there is no denying that, and for that, I am grateful, as I DO NOT deserve it! Father above I acknowledge your impact in my life and I thank you daily!! AMEN!! My friends, my family, my love Gretchen, I love you all with all my heart!!
