Ok who is Jody Wisternoff, well he is from Bristol and was one of Bristols finest Djs better known as Dj Jody, still nothing, well does Way out West ring a bell, Dj Die, Dj Bear and Dj Jody were Way out West and now EDM from America has now put a strangle hold on Djs posting up mixes onto Soundcloud due to copyright, even though the Djs have paid for the tunes and put them up for us the ravers to listen to, for free and now some greedy corporate music company is now going to ruin this site for the sake of MONEY. But this is from the man himself, Jody Wisternoff one of Bristols finest underrated Djs. Jody Wisternoff Apologies to anyone trying to find my Soundcloud page . It appears they have terminated the account due to copyright infringement ( ie uploading my DJ mixes ). Whilst I fully understand the reasoning behind this , I think its a real shame as surely people listening to mixes and analysing tracklists only helps drive sales.. If this has happened to me I can only imagine how many others are gonna lose theirs , with no refund on subscription costs. Currently speaking with some bigwigs but even if the account becomes re-instated , it will no longer be a useful platform for DJs doing their job which is showcasing new music by other artists . A real shitter Yes Soundcloud is now up shit creek without a paddle because the big fry is bullying the small fry. Screw EDM, keep it UK rave breaks, jungle, acid, DnB and get rid of whats coming from America before it strangles us......EDC in a couple of weeks at The BOWL is on a scale so big that they had to cancel Sunday because they couldnt afford to do two days and have screwed over Sunday ticket holders because of hotels and transport money lost....We are the rave scene, we created the rave scene now lets show the world we mean to carry on, who needs EDM on our shores to rip off and let down the punters and with Djs who dont mix and just press play and pretend to twiddle knobs and adjust the sound when the tune is already adjusted oh and lets just keep on pumping the air with our arms.....Sorry guys rant over, but this is a joke.
