Okanagan Forecast: The Valley Cloud Season Has - TopicsExpress

Okanagan Forecast: The Valley Cloud Season Has Started… Weather update: Thursday November 13th 4:30pm The valley cloud season started this morning, and we saw the morning cloud around parts of the Southern Interior valleys. By the afternoon, all areas were in the sun. This will be the case once again tomorrow… We will see valley cloud and fog to start for many areas and then clearing by the afternoon. Temperatures will continue to stay well below seasonal over the next several days, now that the cold arctic air has settled in right across most of BC. There will be a slight change this weekend but only at the upper levels, and temperatures won’t change too much at the surface. Warmer air aloft is expected to push in on Saturday and with an inversion setting up this weekend, the cloud will become more stubborn starting Saturday and will likely last throughout most of the day. A weak disturbance will bring the potential for flurries on Monday evening – and we will keep an eye on this possibility. Friday’s Highs: -6C to 1C ~ Wesla Wong / Duane English
