« Okap Cheri…Ou se Kinan’m » If you were lucky enough to meet someone from the North of Haiti you will surely know those two sentences. Based on the popular opinion Cap Haitien is one of the most hospitable city of Haiti, well until you go there you will never know what they talking about. If you are going by air, you will arrive in less than 30 minutes and an adorable “troubadour” will great you, on your way out taxi drivers or motorcycle will great you and take you “Sou Bouleva”(Boulevard Carénage) where most of the hotels and restaurant are located. The City of Cap Haitien is one of those towns which remain with their mid-18-19th century’s architecture. The “Centre Ville” is such a trip in the past: from the Université Roi Henri Christophe (built by Henri Christophe himself) to the place where Ogé and Chavannes were executed, The Cathedral and the beautiful city of Milot (Palais Sans-Souci, Eglise de Milot, the well-known Citadelle La Ferrière), you will agree with us that Cap Haitien is a breath taking city !!
