Okay. FB friends. I need advice regarding a cut on Ria. My Vet thinks she probably got poked while chasing lizards in the brush. She prescribed Neo-Predif powder (a powder based antibiotic). Which works fine if she does not scratch or rub it. The kicker is, it is right in the spot where the cone comes together so a cone does not work. It was worse last week, a larger area was almost raw looking (Dont mean to be gross but cant think of another description). I kept applying the powder and Vetrycin one product each time and it looked like it was finally healed this weekend. I checked it this am and another pencil eraser sized wound was opened and very nasty looking. Socks dont work because even rubbing the wound with a smooth object can rub it raw. Has anyone used the liquid bandage product? I have heard of it but never used it. Any other advice? My poor girl, its so nasty looking.
