Okay, Im over the horse racing animal cruelty things popping up on my news feed! Race horses are one of the most well looked after horses! There fed, groomed, washed, pampered by there grooms and let out to run around the race course and be free in there paddocks! They live wonderful lives. Thoroughbreds are bred to run and thats what they do best! When they finish racing or are to slow to race unfortunately some are not safe enough to have around for companion or riding horses for pleasure! The rest make beautiful riding horses for eventing, dressage and all round pleasure riding. There beautiful athletes and the 5% who dont make lifes after racing are unfortunate but we need to respect the fact that they are bred for this and no matter the outcome most are given a well and good life from get go! ✌️more concern needs to go out to those neglected horses around the world who havent had such great lifes and are staved! Ive donated to a few and wish I could to so many more 💜
