Okay, Jaime Flores, Michael Bradley, Nancy Schultz, AL EX - you asked for it so you got it! I scoured the globe looking for clearer and better ice bucket challenge video and thanks to Joanne Greco Guastella, we now have it! So in case anybody else missed it, a few weeks ago, the officials of the Village of North Riverside, IL nominated the North Riverside Public Library Board and staff for the ALS ice bucket challenge. So on Wednesday, September 3, 6 staff members (and 1 daughter of a staff member!) drenched ourselves with icy water in front of a crowd of 15 or so co-workers, patrons, and friends! In addition, as part of the challenge, we made a donation to ALS as well as North Riverside resident, Denise Swallow (Denise Rehder-Swallow Benefit). Finally, in turn, we nominated the North Riverside’s Mayor’s Committee of Neighborhood Services for the ALS ice bucket challenge next, who completed it last week! (Which I will post shortly!)
