Okay. Okay... Some good things. Some things we need to work on. Typical rookie mistakes. Im not gonna go too in depth for a preseason game but I will say this, Marcus Smith most definitely showed his athleticism and showed that he could play and hang with the big boys. I never doubted it. It was just an odd pick, where we picked him. But I will say this again, he showed his potential, his athleticism and range. I liked what I saw from him. The rest of the rookies... Beau Allen...forget about i!!! (In a good way)...kid can flat out ball and take on double teams like hes been in the league for 5 years! Huff...hes gonna be a great return guy. Hes gotta catch the ball and run better routes. He did for the most part but he still needs to fine time some things. Matthews...disappointed. Wasnt all his fault but from what we heard the last couple weeks or so, he shoulda caught every ball thrown his way. Ill look for that to change next game. Again, to be clear, its still way WAY TOO EARLY! Hes gonna be a player for sure. Watkins...did a decent job. Again, some typical rookie mistakes but I wouldnt worry. Hell get better and Im confident hes gonna make this team. Ed Reynolds...if Im being honest I didnt really see enough from him and what I saw was subpar. Hart did a decent job.
