Okay, Political Rant of the Day (Youve been warned, but please read -- am I over reacting to this letter?) So I opened my daughters mail today, from the Maine State Voter Program [I know, mail fraud -- I opened it to make sure it wasnt something important that would affect her voting next week] What do I find? A letter from Maine State Voter Program (Be Counted, Inc) asking What if your friends, neighbors and community knew whether you voted? The letter ends with the question After the November 4 election, your friends, your neighbors and other people you know will be able to find out who voted and who did not. The letter then has a listing of 10 random people in Bangor (okay, not all random-- Becca, Patrick, Ellen and I, then 6 random strangers) and whether they voted in the last four major elections. THIS LETTER IS WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS!
