Okay confession time: For the longest time I detested this song. Not because its not beautiful, or true, or even catchy to sing to! But because I just vehemently did NOT want to get out of my little boat. I did NOT want God to take me out on the waters where feet may fail, and stretch my faith!! I had a lot of loss in the last 12 months. Tremendous pain, upheaval, change etc... i am ready for some stability thankyouverymuch. So I just turned this sing off, tuned it out and tried to ignore it. But lately Jesus has been doing a work in me and showing up in marvelous ways! He has brought so much peace to my fears. Strength to my weaknesses. Forgiveness to my failures. I finally surrendered and decided to let HIM continue to guide each of my steps. Wherever that leads. Even when its scary.
