Okay gang...time for a small update on a few things: 1) Thanks to all of you out there who gave me support as I did my medical duty of getting a professional anal probe. Half the comments were wishing me well, while half were having fun with it (just like I was). The purpose of the post was two-fold. First, If you cant laugh or have fun when things get a little serious, why have a mouth that knows how to smile? I always try to throw myself under the bus before anyone else, that way every comment or criticism after my own bashing is way easy to take AND allows for a bit more fun. Secondly, The actual medical exam I did is quite important to all of us. As you might imagine, any test that checks for early cancer detection can be a possible life saver. For some of you who are reading this that are not very old, the sad fact of life, it that someone in your circle of people you care about and love, will be touched by this terrible disease. Early detection is the greatest weapon any of us have. And some, like one of my own children, have chronic diseases that at time can limit their enjoyment of every day. 2) A big CONGRATULATIONS to my friend and Image Comics partner, Robert Kirkman and the good folks over at the AMC channel for their continuing success of The Walking Dead. Sunday nights rating just continue to overwhelm everyone in the entertainment industry. The popularity of the show has also kept the Comic Book (which Image Comics has been publishing for over 10 years) at the top of many New York Times Best Seller lists. And it gives us a great vehicle to make some pretty popular faction figure from our company. 3) Third is a quick reminder that Valentines day is just around the corner. To all you guys out there that might be feeling the pressure, You might be over thinking it. As a man that has been married to a wonderful and beautiful woman for almost 30 years, the thing that makes her fell good is just a simple gesture. So, instead of buying her a card, write her a poem. Or a short letter (on paper with a pen or pencil). Draw her something, no matter how silly, or how bad an artist you think you are, it is the effort shell cherish. When no one is looking, whisper in her ear how beautiful she is. Because gentlemen they are beautiful. Keep it simple...but keep it real. 4) Lastly, I still owe all of you my last post of the Zombie painting I did on my Samsung Note 10.1. This will be my final version before I move on to showing you another idea I am doing. I am thinking of posting some short videos too. So if you have an interest in anything youd like to see, that my company or myself do, Let me know and well see if we cant make it happen. Until then...be good!
