Okay, guys, this is hard for me to talk about but for those of you who know youll understand. My mother has been diagnosed with cancer. Stage four bladder cancer and its spread to her pelvic bones and to the lower portion of her spine, which also means that she has bone cancer as well. Its pretty bad and theyve explained to us that there really isnt that much that they can do for her at this point beyond making her comfortable and keeping her pain to a minimum; shes been giving a year to live, and this is if she is lucky, which with the way things have been going the past month, luck is not on her side. Shes already started and is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy, which, as most people know, is not fun at all. My mother and I always talked about if either of us got cancer and had to undergo chemo that the other would shave their head, and so Ive shaved my head compeatly bald and will continue to do so until, god forbid, my mother passes, or she is able to stop the chemo and her hair begins to regrow. Thank yo to everyone who has been a real help during this time and Im sure that the number will continue to grow.
