Okay just because a Man is selling tomatoes on the side of the road doesnt mean there home grown , I paid $3 for a basket of 5 and when I bit into one sliced up with my beans n cornbread , I found out they tasted like the ones from Wal Mart Lol. Im not blaming the guy because he didnt have a sign advertising home grown tomatoes but Im blaming myself for not knowing better , you can actually tell by looking & the hard feel and half green look they had. I guess its pretty smart of this guy that probably isnt a farmer to buy store produce & divide them out & make some extra monies , he wasnt your typical old man dressed in overhauls and old straw hat or cap. I wont tell where he sets up in case Im wrong & even if Im right , I dont wanna bash his business, after all the buyer has to resume some of the responsibility .
