Okay, people: I dont like the image in this picture, because it looks kind of creepy. But I think because it is Halloween, it will be okay. And I think it brings up a really good point, that can be applied to various groups too. We as a culture seem to really fear change, even though we dont know all of the good things that might be on the other side of that change. We can name the things we are afraid of if we dont do it, (the Risk) but we really cant see the Reward clearly, so we just back away.... If we can slow down enough, still the talking heads and put them on mute, and just BE, for a little while, maybe something true will filter through and begin to shine inside and give us a chance to feel something different, something that isnt FEAR. Then we might be able to get closer to this stalemate that we are all living our lives in as a culture/country....
