Okay... so Ive bubble-wrapped my dining room window. Very easy to do. I bought the bubble wrap at a local paper store. I got some with big bubbles. You wash the window. Then measure and cut your bubble wrap to window size. It might take several side--by-side strips. Fill a spray bottle with water and spray the window pane. Then spray the bubble side of your wrap and simply press into place. Take extra caution along the edges, making sure they got sprayed and pushed firmly against the window pane. To remove, you simply pull off. No glue or residue. They say you can reuse each winter for five or six winters, so be careful not to pop the bubbles. It seems the air chambers in the bubbles provide a cushion, of sorts, between the cold window air, and the warmed air inside your home. I know for a fact that when its really cold up here, if I walk by one of my windows, I can really feel the colder air. Lastly, one thing I like is you dont have to worry about cleaning or dust building up. If the bubbles were faced out (yes, it works that way too), over time youll get some light dust building up on top of each and every bubble. But not so when they face the window, and if you want to occasionally clean the flat side facing you, it only takes a few seconds to do. Anyway, again, kudos to my niece Audrey Anderson Grange for alerting me to this! https://youtube/watch?v=3TxGl7IO2Ds
