Okay so heres how I made two weeks worth of healthy frozen dinners for under $20 and in less than 45 mins. Ingredients: 1. Pack of boneless skinless chicken breasts - $10 (cut into 12 servings) 2. Green Giant Steamers - $6 (12 servings in 6 bags) 3. Whole wheat penne pasta - $1.49 ( 4 servings per box) 4. Brown Rice - $1.39 per bag (6+ servings) *I did use other ingredients from my refrigerator that I did not include in the price such as seasonings, light butter, and a few sprinkles of Parmesan cheese for my veggies. *Prices may vary depending on store, when in doubt, generic brands work fine! Preparation: 1. Season/Grill pre-cut boneless skinless breast on family size George Forman Grill (5 mins per batch) 2. Heat up Green Giant Steamers frozen vegetables in microwave. One pack at a time! (30 mins after all are heated) 3. Boil a pot of wheat penne pasta (7 mins) and or a box of brown rice (25-30 mins season to taste) *All of this should be cooking at the same time so that you cut down cooking time! Total cooking time should take no more than 30 minutes if there are no interruptions. Storage: 1. Make sure you have freezer-safe Tupperware so that your food doesnt get freezer burned! 2. Measure out food so that you have a reasonable amount in each dish. The key is portion size. Put only one piece of chicken in each dish and only half of the green giant steamers (one box gives 2 servings), and one cup of rice or pasta (not both). 3. Freeze and then microwave when ready!
