Okay something happened that really warmed my heart. I was getting a couple tacos from Taco Bell. As I was walking out I saw a man approach and I thought: This guy is going to ask me for some money. I thought maybe if I dont say anything he wont ask. I could not let him pass without saying hello. You got it right he did ask for loose change. At 1st I thought I Knew It. Then I remembered I just cashed a commission check from what was a sale that was virtually a gift from a fellow veteran. What kind of a person would I be if I could not help with some change. I reached into my pocket and found what must have been $4-$5 in change and gave it to him. Who knows maybe God multiplied it in my pocket knowing I would find it in my heart to give to this very kind man. I asked him what he was going to do and he said buy a couple tacos. I told him to put the money away and that I would buy him dinner and we walked in. As we approached the counter another person who had invited the man over to Taco Bell for lunch earlier tells the cashier to give the man in need what ever he wanted. The man say thank you to him and stated that many people invite him to grab something to eat but never show up, shook his hand, and proceeded to order. I asked the young man in his early 20s if he had everything under control and if he needed some help. The young man said no and invited me to lunch if I needed. Thanks for reaffirming my belief that man is good to his fellow man and those in need.
