Okie-Dokie sports fans! The time has come to announce what you’ve all been waiting for; THE BAG TAG FINALE SCHEDULE!!! The Finale will take place on October 4th and 5th. All players must be registered by Sunday, September 28. The last day to play for tags will be September 28. Once registered, tags may not be challenged. Registration will be made available no later than September 25th. Your tag number will be your placement in the bracketed tournament. Depending on the turnout, we will either play one or two courses on Saturday. If we have greater than 80 players the player pool will be split into two even brackets. On Saturday, one bracket will play Dexter; the other will play a modified Grove. The format will be 9-hole match play. We will play until each bracket has been reduced to 16 players (8 from winners bracket, 8 from losers bracket.) If we have less than 80 players, we will play a modified Cottage Grove course. We will play until the field is cut to 32. On Sunday, we will extend matches to 12 holes and it will be played on a Safari course of my creation. The course will be available for play after matches have been concluded. I am hoping to have a local brewery sponsor the event to the tune of a delicious keg of beer. It will be available to all participants. The University of Oregon Disc Golf Team will be selling Carolina style pulled pork and sides both days for a very affordable price. Please help us support our University of Oregon Discing Ducks! I am still seeking sponsorship stuff, so I do not know how the final payout will look yet. Tentatively I am expecting it to look something like: 1st – $250-300 2nd - $125-175 3rd - $75-100 4th - $50 5th - $50 6th - 10th - $30 11th – 32nd - $20 32nd -50 – Disc/Merchandise
