Old Dominion Rugby kept it up yesterday with a strong conference win over Radford 34-7. It was a tough hard fought match, with two players from each team spending time in the Sin Bin, but Old Dominion played stout defense and team offense...several trys were scored off multiple passes in space included a game highlight - Captain Rigual to Vice-Captian Roddy to last years Captain Zummo for the score. John Via had two trys, while his defense was thumping, and he came away with MVP for the match. The Cup match was equally impressive with ODU wining 43-7 in a much shortened game. Several players scored for the first time, Mitch in his first match! Old Dominion saw 48 (thats right) forty-eight players take the pitch yesterday, as rolling subs were the fare in game two. Peaches Wagner put on another impressive performance for MVP of the Cup match.
