Old Stone Church Cemetery, Lewisburg, WV. This is the Angel of Death. The grave marker of a little girl named Maud Montague, who died during a pneumonia epidemic. After Mauds death, her twin cousins came to the cemetery to visit her grave and, upon leaving, each gave the angel a kiss on the cheek. By the end of the year, both twins had fallen ill and died. The local legend says that anyone who is brave enough to kiss the angel will suffer the same fate.
