Old bins to be collected in Ladywood. Residents of Aston, Ladywood, Nechells and Soho wards who have received their new recycling and household rubbish wheelie bins as part of the ongoing improvements to refuse collection will be able to return their old unwanted dustbins and recycling boxes this weekend. Anyone living in the wards who would like old dustbins or boxes collected should leave them at the front of their property before 6am on Saturday (July 19). They will then be collected by the city council either on the Saturday or Sunday (July 20). Residents are asked to ensure that they are clean so that they can then be recycled by the council. Alternatively, citizens can keep them and make good use of them around the house or garden.
