The study seeks to understand students with disabilities’ perceptions of faculty members’ willingness to provide accommodations. In addition, it seeks to understand students’ willingness to disclose their disabilities to faculty members. In obtaining such information, it is hoped that recommendations and interventions can be given in order to optimize the process of requesting and receiving accommodations for those students with disabilities in higher education within the state of West Virginia. Taking part in this research study is completely voluntary and no identifying information will be collected. You are free to skip any questions that you prefer not to answer and are free to discontinue the survey at any time. Responses will remain completely anonymous and confidential and your class standing will not be affected if you decide not to participate or to withdraw prematurely. West Virginia Universitys Institutional Review Board has reviewed and approved this study. A link to the questionnaire is provided at the end of this email.
