Olivia was a 1 year old when 9-11 happened, She and I were on our way to visit her Roo for a frozen pop. I now have a 13 year old and a 10 year old, neither child has known a day in their life when we were not at war with some middle eastern country. 9-11 was tragic! As was Benghazi, and the multitude of other attacks, fights, skirmishes, and wars going on around the world. War is a dangerous thing.... destruction, loss. I reflect on this and ponder..... 12 years.... my question is this... how long were the Crusades? How long did England continue to send its people in to the middle east? How long did they stretch the emotional, financial and physical lives of its people before they gave up? Seeing their men come home shells of themselves? or not come home at all? We need to broker peace among our own hearts, among our own people, and grow a peace mentality. There is nothing to gain from fighting, instead use that energy, power and money to educate and teach the art of compassion. I pray today that God come into the hearts of man, soften them, lead them and guide them to see and hear that human life is precious, sacred and to not be taken for granted. All life, we are all 1 people under him. Love one another.
