Olowo Zakariyah Abiodun- a darling brother. Olowo was indeed a true and darling brother, friend, mentor and motivator to me... Honestly, Ive gained a lot from the wealth of knowledge and wisdom; that which Allah has blessed you with and he was indeed a dedicated Muslim brother. We started Arabic school (Madrasah) same year; attend Islamic and other competitions together in various associations and schools, he took me to Mssn for all Secondary School in Ilorin and State Press club; where I was chosen as the Vice-Ameer and Vice President for 2010/11 session respectively, we wrote jamb and gained admission same year (though to different Institutions), we discussed about our course of study (Law), he would ask me questions on Law and Islamic issues, correct and guide me when am wrong in a modest manner, refer me to various books... Allah has used you (Zakariyah) to assist me in achieving many goals; including the ones I never dreamt, he pointed at me and said to his friends thats my brother while I was reading my manifesto at Press club in Secondary School, he urged me to develop a writing skill and promised me to always guide and help me when hes capable, he wakes me and other students of my dad for morning prayer and supplications... He would compete with me when reading Quran and Arabic poems in lectures with my dad (Ustaadh Mahmood Adewole), hes regular in Madrasah than I did; and urged me to do the same, he would ask for Islamic books for me in my absential, he promised that we would do things together... Honestly, hes a source of inspiration for me.... Subhaanallah! The last time we spoke together was when I called to ask about his health and prayed for him. He doesnt even talked about his sickness. Rather, he was so concerned about my own affairs... Asking about to know how I was doing, my exam and praying for me. I beseech Allah (The Most High) to forgive you of your sins, grant you tranquility in your grave and count you among the inhabitants of Jannat-ul-firdaus. I also ask Allah to be my guide and guard in completing and achieving the goals he could not fulfil... Egbon mi... #sobs#
