On 22nd July 2013 there was a service of remembrance at Leicestershire County Hall to mark the 60th anniversary of the end of the Korean War. As part of this anniversary Liz Blood of Leicestershire County Council, Colin Hyde of the East Midlands Oral History Archive at the University of Leicester, and Burt McNeill of the Record Office for Leicestershire, Leicester & Rutland interviewed members of the Leicestershire Branch of the British Korean Veterans Association. These recordings will be edited into a documentary and the full interviews will be archived for posterity. The banners from the exhibition can be seen here: leics.gov.uk/index/environment/naturalenvironment/heritagewardens/heritagewardens_projects/warmemorials/content_template-newpage-11.htm Further details can be obtained from Colin Hyde who can be contacted via the EMOHA website at le.ac.uk/emoha
