On 9th Jan 2015 (17th Rabi Awwal 1436), an event to celebrate the Birth Anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.S) and Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.) took place in Panjtan Society of Victoria center in Melbourne, Australia. During this event of Milad, a short speech was given by resident Alim Maulana Abul Qasim Rizvi on the situation in Hijaz (Saudi Arabia & Bahrain) and Ayatollah Sheikh Baqir Nimr Al-Nimr, to raise awareness among the Shia community in Melbourne belonging to the Sub-continent ethnicity. As part of this event, a short clip of Ayatollah Sheikh Baqir Nimrs speech was also shown.
