On December 11, 2012 a week before the closure of voter registration, as it became clear that some regions had scored the numbers, I told a friend that a press conference would be called to condemn the IEBC for favouring some regions and for asking their clerks to slow down the process in some areas.. Sure enough a press conference was called to say that very thing. I predict a news conference will be called by end of the week over the ICC cases. The statement shall read: It has become apparent clear: 1. That Chamber V(b) has been compromised by the Jubilee government to defeat justice. 2. That judges of Chamber V(b) dont have full apprehension of the Rome Statute and rules of engagement. 3. That Chamber V(b) has compromised the cases by commenting on possible verdict before hearing all witnesses. 4. That Chamber V(b) comprises of non-reformers who want to safeguard impunity in Africa. 5. That Chamber V(b) is no better than the IEBC and is now being used to achieve certain objectives ahead of 2017. Its for those reasons that we demand: 1. That the the two cases at the ICC be stopped forthwith 2. That the UN constitutes a special court for the Kenyan cases within six months. 3. That fresh evidence and new witnesses be called under new terms bla bla bla...
