On December 13th, 2013 I announced that I would be converting my Bluegrass Bulls winter baseball team into a spring and summer youth travel team. The Bluegrass Bulls really received bush back from the local league and were not allowed to practice on any youth fields in Nicholasville. But the parents, family and friends of this inaugural team would not be denied, pushed back and found a place to practice, a place to host a tournaments and became a regular fixture in the travel ball circuirt, now a year later, the Bluegrass Bulls are in their fifth winterball season and enter 2015 with two travel teams a 10U and an 11U, I want to thank the parents, sponsors, family and friends that supported us in the beginning and their continued support that has allowed us to grow as a team, and as a baseball family. Thank you as well to those who denied us places to practice and wished us nothing but failure, that gave me and our baseball family determination to succeed, and also realize that it is our job to take the high road and wish you nothing but the best in 2015, that it isnt about us, its about the love of game, to teach the children the importance of winning with dignity, loosing with wins and lessons and that the harder we work, the luckier you get. I love all of my Bulls, their families and our baseball dreams, 2015 will be a huge success!!! Lets get this party started.
