On December 9th, Korean fansites and international fans gathered together to commemorate the birth of SHINees golden boy, Minho! At exactly 12AM KST, Shawols from different parts of the world became one on Twitter to trend the hashtag, #24YearsOfMinho. The hashtag made it onto the worldwide trending list and stayed on the top for almost an hour! Four notable Minho Fansites (Beautiful Days, Can U Smile, Felicity, Mr. Minho) formed a fan page union and accomplished a series of fan projects to celebrate the birthday of SHINees Flaming Charisma, Minho. One of their projects included a message book (that was given to Minho) containing fan messages from Shawols around the world which was carefully translated to Korean (by the fan page union). On December 4th, the fansite union gave out birthday slogans in SHINees Osaka Japanese tour in honor of celebrating Minhos special day on an earlier date. Additionally, the fan page union advertised Minhos birthday in various places such as, the Station Line 2 in Konkuk University Station, the Incheon bus stop and in one of South Koreas most expensive shopping places, Myeongdong street. The fansite, Mr. Minho, not only greeted SHINees rapper through a bus advertisement (and joined the fansite union), but also donated to the Hope Project Library (hosted by China Youth Development Foundation) in Minhos name to help set up libraries for students who are residing in less fortunate regions in China.
