On Delta 2015: we have crossed the rubicon! Delta state indeed is a peculiar state and same is, its politics....It is obvious that there a lot you would find in Nigeria (Delta state) politics that you wont see or read in any political science textbook. The purpose of governance is to transform legitimate electoral votes which are a reflection of a peoples wish into development; human capital and infrastructural. Dutifully, it is galvanizing the aspiration of the generality of a people in a more organized and progressional scale of development!. It centers mostly on the drivers of such systems as everyone cannot steer the ship course in a particular time; Here lies the pains or gains of our choices. Warri will say food when go sweet, na from market you go know am!. Leadership is both innate and a craft!....character, competency, vision, credentials and proven track record are the guidians torch. When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable; we as the led must understand the aftermath of our electoral choices! As Deltans sits in the political theatre as umpires, the need to understand the qualification as prerequisite to mount the stage is imperative; it is no longer business as usual. A true Deltan is at this point a rallying and a focal point of interest. For the urhobo ethnic nationality, a rare opportunity to strategically reposition itself is at the threshold. It is not an all comers affairs as we must refuse our attention to be shifted from the goal. The organizational effort and leadership of the UPU ably led by Chief Gen. Patrick Aziza has made the terms clear for all functional ears....It is an urhobo governor or nothing else. Like the case of biblical Queen Esther, UPU has said if we perish, we perish because our boats have been burnt at the other side of the rubicon river!. To the renegades, despot, saboteurs and opportunist elements within the urhobo nation, it is expedient to have a quick and permanent rethink because judgement is starting from our own household. For a pot of porridge, we refuse to be sold into another hectic and unpleasant political experience. He who have sinned within and against the urhobo nation should show penance by making peace with his people because no mass of army can stop an idea whose time has come!. To those who would want to be quick to call this an ethnic bigot, let me educate them that every man comes from a stock (tribe) and I remain unapologetic about my push for a better positioning of my people and by extension, Deltans.
