On Friday 23rd May, 2014, SWAT Armament on behalf of HERA ARMS of Germany has supplied our Rapid Intervention Unit with 12 HERA-ARMS H3T 223/5.56 NATO 30 round magazines for their M-16 assault rifles. This is significant improvement over the existing magazines as apart from the built, form, function and design the HERA-ARMS H3T allows the user to immediately check on the level of ammunition still available in the magazine through a clear window. They are also lighter and sturdier. The Rapid Intervention Unit is in the process of upgrading and modernising its existing arsenal in view of the forthcoming major international events scheduled to be organised in Malta within the coming months.
