On Friday Italian Cultural Institute Edinburgh is bringing their performance “Tutta casa, letto e chiesa”or ”All home, bed and Church” to Summerhall! The show is a combination of comic-grotesque monologues about the condition of women. The performance will be preceded by a round table with Prof. Joseph Farrell, Dr Donatella Fischer and Marina De Juli. Two books by Prof. Farrell will be presented: “Non è tempo di nostalgia Franca Rame con Joseph Farrell” Della Porta editori (Pisa), 2013 which contains the last interview Franca Rame was able to give before her death and “Dario e Franca: la biografia della coppia Fo/Rame attraverso la storia italiana”, edizioni Ledipublishing, 2014. The only up to date biography of Fo-Rame available in Italian. This show will be in Italian with English subtitles.
