With a gorgeous day and a hardy crew, they accomplished 3 sections of the marsh in just a few hours. And get this: every single one of the 954 oyster bags made through our Shuck and Share program this year is now in the lagoon! If YOU want to be involved in this kind of project but missed out this time, youre in luck! We still need to put down oyster mats in a few sections and will need more bags as additional marsh features are completed.
