On Global Tiger Day - 2013, Wild Wing Society joining hands with Green Eco Organization of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology launches a new initiative "புகை இல்லா அடுப்பு" to reduce the impact of fuel wood collection by the communities ...livning in and around Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve. Students of BIT will fabriate "புகை இல்லா அடுப்பு" and install them in the villages and settlements which consume fuel wood from the forests for their daily livelyhood. This initiative will directly impact and reduce the stress due to fire wood collection in and around TIGER HABITATS of Sathyamangalm Tiger Reserve.
