On May 4, 2014, at approximately 1:30am, a group of three males physically attacked a male subject who was walking through UW-Stout Lot 14 near Millenium Hall. A female witness was also injured while trying to intervene. While this incident is still under investigation, it appears the attack was random and unprovoked. No suspects have been identified at this point. University Police recommends that when walking at night, stay on well-lit pedestrian sidewalks, don’t go alone, and don’t hesitate to call 911 if you are confronted or threatened. A $1000.00 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the subjects involved.
