On May 7th, my father unexpectedly passed away of a heart attack. Just a few days later, my friend, Adam Reeves (at the young age of 32), also died of a heart attack. Both of these men were special to so many. Their lives made a difference. They lived their dash to the fullest. In 3 weeks, Ill be competing in my second Ironman in Mont Tremblant, Canada. I want to dedicate my 140.6 miles to Adam and to my father. This race will be completed with a purpose, just as their lives were. How can you help? Hopefully, by the time I reach the finish line on August 17th, more money will be added to the scholarship fund so Woodhaven-Brownstown students can live their dash to the fullest!
