On November 14-15, 2014, the United States Professional Tennis Association Middle States Division will be hosting the 2014 Conference at the Marriott Forrestal in Princeton, NJ. This year we are planning a 2-day event that is both social and educational. On Friday, November 14th well kick off with Registration at 11am, Lunch at 12 noon, a 10-u Workshop at 1pm followed by a character piece, a Vendor-sponsored Cocktail Party, the Awards Dinner, and finally, an after-dinner party in Downtown Princeton! Day 2 would kick off with Diane Selke from the USPTA giving us a State of the Organization piece followed by a Sport Science presentation that would be half in the Conference room and half on-court. Before lunch will be another on-court presentation. After lunch well have a Celebrity Motivational Speaker sharing business and sales ideas, then a Player Development piece on and off-court and finally a talk show-like Q & A panel discussion where attendees can interact with the presenters! Tentative Speakers: Emilio Sanchez-Vicario, Mark Kovacs, Rodney Harmon, David DiLucia, Gene Miller and Mike Barrell. Last year we had over 100 attendees, an impressive 27% of our membership and this year promises to be even better! The venue is beautiful, the courts centrally-located, the speakers world-class, and the time of year perfect for our seminal event! See you in November!
