On November 15, activist Jeremy Hammond (freejeremy.net) was sentenced to an outrageous 10 years in prison for participating in the Anonymous hack into the computers of the private intelligence firm Stratfor. Among the millions of emails harvested from Stratfors servers, and published by WikiLeaks, was the below email from December 2010 in which Statfor employees suggest actions that could be taken against big banks that support the testing lab Huntingdon Life Sciences (for example, I would leave a python in the execs toilet bowl). In another email-- search.wikileaks.org/gifiles/?viewemailid=1700934-- from September 2009 a Statfor employee remarks on the use of beagles by Novartis (thats just messed up) and adds a racist comment. Free Jeremy Hammond!
