On November 25, Deputy Chief of Mission Henry Jardine participated in the activity “Boys and men against domestic violence,” organized by the Gender Alliance for Development Center (GADC) and Counselling Line with the support of the Public Affairs Office of the U.S. Embassy, as part of the “16 days of activism against gender violence.” The screening of the documentary, produced by the organizers of the event, was followed by a panel discussion featuring Deputy Chief of Mission Jardine, Deputy Minister of Social Welfare and Youth Bardhylka Kospiri, Deputy Minister of Education and Sports Nora Malaj, Director of the Gender Alliance Mirela Arqimandriti and the Director of the Counselling Line Iris Lurasi. Deputy Chief of Mission Jardine emphasized that “…the U.S. Embassy is committed to promoting gender equality and supporting efforts to prevent gender violence. We will continue to work with the Albanian government and civil society groups to tackle this issue that, sadly, affects many women across Albania.” #16DaysCampaign
