On Saturday September 13th 2014 Seema Shah and Avinash Chennamsetty held their wedding reception at the Detroit Downtown Marriott Hotel at the Ren Cen. They got married a month ago in California and now it was time to celebrate with the local Michigan community. We arrived at the venue around 1pm due to the tough loading procedures along with multiple services we were providing. Both the bride Seema Shah and her mom Nutun Shah are wedding planners in California so we had a lot to live up to! We provided DJ services, Master of Ceremonies, Screens, Projectors, Trussing, Movers, Dhol Players, White Dance Floor, Pin Spotting, Glow Sticks, Draping, and More! The room was transformed in time for cocktail hour to begin. Cocktails and appetizers were served in the pre function area outside the main ballroom. Our live jazz band entertained the crowd while we enjoyed delicious food from Amit Makhecha (Rangoli Indian Cuisine). After the program and dinner DJ Naveen Productions and Event Lighting had all the guests dancing the night away to the best bollywood, south Indian, bhangra, and top 40 music. Seema and Avinash decided to go with our PLATINUM event package. This includes DJ Services and Master of Ceremonies for the wedding reception along with dance floor lighting, trussing, movers (robotic lights) and full room LED up lighting. They also added a live dhol player (drummer), screens and projectors, video mixing, and a custom gobo monogram. They had about 330 guests for the reception.
