On Saturday evening, my brother-in-law married the love of his life; Kinley enjoyed the brief spotlight as flower girl; and Jenna and I enjoyed our first dance in a very long time. I could have jumped up and down on the dance floor with Kinley for hours, and I could have held Jenna for a lifetime. A woman with a thousand reasons to stay home overcame a considerable amount of anxiety to make certain that she could see her brother marry an amazing girl and watch her daughter grow up a little bit more. To cap it off, she accepted my invitation to the dance floor and showed, in spite of a number of physical difficulties, that love trumps fear. Thank you for an amazing night, bride and groom.
