On Sunday I did the story at kids church in the 2nd service. Im not a teacher by profession so Ive been learning by making mistakes and observing teacher friends. After watching Melody Birch at the 1st service I picked up so many helpful tips (thankyou!!) and I was once again, so thankful for trained teachers. They have such important skills that help transform simple stories to be Good News for little people (and often big people too). Every time I do kids church Im reminded of the incredible work teachers do all day, everyday with children...the joy and the struggle it can be. So thank you teachers for scaffolding for us grown ups, who are learning important lessons from you as well.
