On Sunday we remembered Z Special Unit commandos Private Ronald Eagleton & Lance Corporal Spencer Walklate, who were killed during Operation Copper on 20 April 1945. Until recently, the two men had no known resting place. Next month they will be buried with full military honours next to their fellow commandos at Lae War Cemetery.
