On Sunday we started our Christmas series, Awaiting Jesus, where we realized that year 2014 was a difficult year for everyone and that all we want for x-mas this year is a break and a bit of hope that 2015 will be a better year. We also learned a very valuable lesson from Jesus and heard that He does not want us to be prisoners of our circumstances, our sins, or the world, because we are free! The price has been paid in full and all we need to do in tough times is to ask for help ... If we ask for help Jesus will send assistance, people who are there to assist us and to help us through difficult times. He also asks us to go out and extend a helping hand to others who are prisoners in their own lives and to help them live free.
