On Thursday, August 7, Deputy Mayor Ken D’Andrea and Councilman Bob DiEnna, on behalf of council, honored Frances DiLodovico, who celebrated her 100th birthday. Frances was born Aug. 12, 1914 in Philadelphia and is the eldest of four children. As a child, she moved to Atco, NJ with her family. In 1939, Frances married Louis DiLodivico and had a child together who had three sons. Frances also has three great-grandsons. Frances and Louis’ marriage lasted 62 years until Louis sadly passed away in 2001. In 2000, she moved to Evesham Township where she maintains residency. Friends, family, members of the Marlton Senior Citizen Club and township officials surrounded Frances on her special day and celebrated with cake. “She is filled with happiness and energy that could outdo even me,” D’Andrea said. “She’s part of the greatest generation, I hope we can continue to honor her and her generation and recognize all they’ve experienced. Happy birthday, Frances.” The Marlton Senior Citizen Club and Evesham Township is inspired by Frances’ long life and offer here sincere best wishes for continued good health, happiness, and an overflowing abundance of love and joy.
