On Tuesday, I mentioned that despite criticizing Mr. Tillis after winning the GOP primary for North Carolinas US Senate Seat against Democratic incumbent Kay Hagan in May, we have seen ISIS emerge as a threat to our nation and our allies. In the past few hours, ISIS released a video showing the beheading of British aid worker Alan Henning, and showing them holding a fourth American, who was a former soldier in Iraq. I neglected to mention that Senator Hagan is the chair of the Emerging Threats Subcommittee, which oversees the Defense Departments strategies in dealing with terrorist organizations, which includes ISIS! I think this new ad by the Tillis campaign which features the mother of a Marine, will change the election in favor of Mr. Tillis.
